AGM 2024-25 24th May, 2024The IEEE UVCE Annual General Meet 2024 marked a significant milestone as IEEE UVCE enters it's 25th year. The event commenced with warm greetings extended to all teachers and attendees, followed by an invocation song and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries. Dr. Kiran K sir, Branch Counselor, IEEE UVCE, presented the Annual Report of the year 2023-24, highlighting all the events organized by Team IEEE UVCE and the commendable achievements attained during the period.

International Day of Yoga 21st June, 2024IEEE UVCE hosted The International Day of Yoga celebration at UVCE. The event aimed to promote the physical, mental, social, and spiritual benefits of yoga and raise awareness about these benefits. Dr. Kiran K, the Branch Counselor of IEEE UVCE, served as the yoga instructor, and the Principal, Dr. Paul S Vizhian, participated in the session.

PELS Day Webinar 21st June, 2024IEEE UVCE PELS chapter hosted a PELS Day webinar with Ms. Rinika Paul. Her talk explored the fundamentals of Power Electronics, showcasing its role in miniaturizing devices (like those with Taiwan Semiconductors' 1.6nm tech). Different semiconductor devices were discussed, including the rising star Gallium Nitride (GaN).

As part of the IEEE UVCE Silver Jubilee Celebration, a School Adoption Program is being organized monthly by IEEE UVCE SIGHT, with different SIGs conducting sessions. This month, IEEE UVCE WIE led the program, focusing on teaching science and linking academic concepts with practical applications.
